Lamb of God Bead- The Process

Forward...MARCH! This lamb looks like he's marching :-) I agonized over this lamb's face structure and the position of the legs. It looks simple enough, but trust me, I worked long and hard with this one!


Here he is with the staff. I also added the shadowing here. It looks kind of messy,but that's just because it's the outside of the bead. Inside all is good!

Here is the finished cane before I reduced it.

While reducing the cane, the ends distort and this part of the cane has to be cut off. I reduce canes by rolling and sometimes stretching them. Many people think they shrink. They don't shrink in the oven at all. All the "shrinking" is done by rolling and stretching the canes. The picture stays the somewhat the same as the cane reduces in size.
