Cute pictures. Nathan took a pacifier and when he was 1 and 1/2 we limited it to naps and bedtime and about a month ago we got rid of it since we lost some of them. He was upset for about a week but now he is fine. He turned two in January. Kevin never took a pacifier so we did not have experience with this. We are glad it worked out so well.
I didn't want him to suck his fingers because I'm afraid he will get buck teeth, or still be sucking their fingers when they are too old. My other two kids the pacifier, but Jude never really liked it, so I gave up. Now he sucks his fingers...grrr...but it is cute!
Such cute pictures...yes, all the kids love baby toys don't they? And if they are lucky, even the babies get a turn! Must be something about baby #3- Fiona is my one and only thumb sucker...I think it's fine until their permanent teath start coming in...
Love the finger sucking--too cute! Seth still sucks his thumb. My ped said not to worry about it, he'll stop when he's ready. I like that he soothes himself to sleep. Although this week he hasn't soothed himself at all-I've been up with him at least 10 times a night every night. I think he's getting his top teeth in. Who knows. All I know is...I'm tired!!!!
