The Magnificat

Mary's Magnificat or the Canticle of Mary is the prayer of praise that that burst forth from her during her visit to Elizabeth. Mary, full of Grace, was inspired by the Holy Spirit to say these beautiful words:

The Magnificat

 ⁴⁶And Mary said:
         "^(A)My soul ^(B)exalts the Lord,
    ⁴⁷And ^(C)my spirit has rejoiced in ^(D)God my Savior.
    ⁴⁸"For ^(E)He has had regard for the humble state of His bondslave;
         For behold, from this time on all generations will count me ^(F)blessed.
    ⁴⁹"For the Mighty One has done great things for me;
         And holy is His name.
    ⁵⁰"^(G)AND HIS MERCY IS UPON GENERATION AFTER GENERATION
         TOWARD THOSE WHO FEAR HIM.
