Chaplet of Seven Sorrows

Yesterday, I put together this chaplet of the Seven Sorrows of Mary, also known as the Servite Rosary or the Seven Sorrows Rosary.  The medals are hard to see in the photo, so I included an extra photo of the medals in detail. It is a beautiful prayer that I discovered when reading, Our Lady of Kibeho (linked to an older post that I wrote for this book).  The book included a detailed meditation for each of the Seven Sorrows.  It really helped me get through the painful labor and childbirth of my last child. I plan to reread for baby Jude's birth in November.  The instructions for this rosary/chaplet are below.  I will be putting it for sale for when I get back.

DEVOTION OF THE SEVEN SORROWS
PRAY OUR FATHER ON LARGE BEADS,
7 HAIL MARYS ON 7 AVE BEADS
MEDITATING ON EACH:
   1.  Prophecy of Simeon.
2.  Flight into Egypt.
   3.  Loss of Child Jesus in the temple.
4.  Meeting of Jesus and Mary on Way of the Cross.
   5.  Crucifixion.
6.  Removing Body of Jesus from the Cross.
   7.  Burial of Jesus
PRAY HAIL MARY ON 3 BEADS ON PENDANT FOR THE TEARS OF MARY

I love this chaplet. We have people interested in this because of Our Lady of Kibeho. Would you ever consider selling a few to me for resale in the bookstore? Email me sometime about it if you'd like. jcragon@comcast.net Thanks and again, beautiful.

Oh Sarah,
Your Chaplet of seven sorrows is beautiful.
My husband & I have just finished reading "Left to tell" & we have Immaculee's other 2 books, "Led by Faith" & "Our Lady Of Kibeho" ready to start but her book Left to Tell was so moving & powerful we needed a couple of weeks to contemplate & reflect. I think it is a book that everybody NEEDS to read.

God Bless you Sarah & your family,
Take care,
In Christ,
Hugs Robyn xx

Sarah, this is the second time in two days that I've heard about Our Lady of Kibeho. Obviously, I need to learn about this devotion. And I want to look into Immaculee's books.

Your chaplet is incredibly beautiful. It's apparent that you design work beads with deep love and devotion!

Immaculee's books are very powerful! My husband borrowed one to a noncatholic who was having trouble forgiving someone. After she read the book, she said it really helped her. Just goes to show that God really does work good from even the darkest of evil.
