After turning thirty, waist deep into mommyhood, and being a conservative Christian, it wasn't easy, but I think I've found my style again and some clothes to match. I'd describe my style as mod-retro.
The internet has been great in letting me window shop without strollers and kids running into the streets. The website I've been frequenting is Modcloth.com. I'd like to add about 8 inches of fabric to most of the their dresses, but here's some dresses on my wish list that I've found to be cute and modest:
How about you? Where's your favorite site to shop?
Now back to storm watching...

The grey one is cute, retro in a 50's way. My fav site for clothes shopping is JC penny.

Very cute and I can totally see you in all of these!!
Ummmm....Modern Maternity these days....
I just told Tom that I'm going to need some pants for the 3rd trimester, as, all the girls were born in the summer months and I wore shorts or capris or sundresses....When I was pregnant with Nicholas, born in March, my water broke 2 months early, so in the hospital I was, and only had one month in that trimester of needing long pants....and I was about 50 lbs thinner!!!!
Finding modest clothing that isn't frumpy is SO difficult :( I find myself getting incredibly discouraged and frustrated when I'm shopping. I'll have to check out this site...if you find any other good ones, let me know!! :)
I know what you mean, Allison! Another reason, I am staying away from the mall...
Will let you know that I also like Mango.com and ShabbyApple.com. Shabby Apple is the best, but very expensive. Someday, I'll save up enough for something from that store!
Have you heard of Vintage Hem (http://www.vintagehem.com/)? Their slips are a great way to add a couple of inches to too short skirts or dresses. :)
